James
and company were doing swing and jump blues
before the Big Bad Voodoo Cherry Poppin Squirrel Nut
onslaught of a few years ago. But while the late 90s swing
resurgence leaned heavily to the jump side, Patton also
indulges his passion for vintage Vegas lounge-style crooning,
paying homage to Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin as much as
Louis Prima and Louis Jordan. Dance or romance, theyve
got you covered either way.

Patton
James & The Synchromatics. If youve ever caught
these guys atNashvilles Havana Lounge, you know how potent
their mixture of jump-blues and swing can be. Fun lyrics,
a killer band and some serious, serious sax. When The
Synchromatics are upbeat, they're flying, and when Patton
brings it down for a seductive tune or two, you wont
be going anywhere.

Reminiscent
of a young Sinatra, this is one
seriously swingin' young guy.
